Toby founded Meadows & Wood Hearing Care in 2020 after relocating to Somerset with his wife Claire. Their aim is to provide top quality independent hearing and ear care and in a family run and ethical practice.
He began his career studying Hearing in Cambridge, where he completed his degree and joined a national chain following his graduation, becoming a regional director. The corporate approach to patient care did not fulfil Toby and so he moved into the Independent sector where continuity of care was seen as a vital ingredient in successful patient outcomes. Toby joined County Hearing as their Managing Director in 2016 following several years with their sister company, DigiClear.
Toby is also an advanced wax removal and microsuction specialist and helps patients day-to-day with this as well as all of our other audiology services.

Claire is a professional administrator, with huge experience in customer care. A warm and positive individual with a ready laugh and friendly caring approach. She enjoys building a good rapport, and understanding client's needs. With a strong sense of personal responsibility, always concerned with quality and excellence. She is self-disciplined with high standards and has a methodical, systematic and orderly approach.
