A warm welcome from Mia, Claire and Toby at Meadows & Wood Hearing Care Specialists.

We are now into March, and a little spring is in the air with any luck! A few weeks ago, we had Tinnitus Awareness Week which may have got you thinking about your own ears, so let’s chat about tinnitus! It’s that pesky ringing or buzzing in your ears. Now, you might think it’s just a minor annoyance, but getting it assessed can be very beneficial.

Book a Tinnitus Assessment

An assessment helps manage tinnitus and rule out any underlying conditions that might be causing it. Conditions like high blood pressure or ear infections can often lead to tinnitus, as well as hearing loss, so it’s important to treat these promptly. There are various treatments available, from sound therapy to cognitive behavioural therapy, which can significantly reduce the impact of tinnitus on your daily life.

Let’s not forget the peace of mind that comes with understanding what’s happening in your body. Tinnitus can cause a lot of stress and anxiety, especially if you don’t know why it’s happening. An assessment can provide answers and reassurance.

So, while tinnitus might seem like a small issue, getting it assessed can have big benefits. It’s all about taking care of your health, one step at a time.

If you or your loved one are struggling with hearing, and you would like to know how we can help, we are here for you at home or in North Somerset’s only full-time and fully independent audiology and tinnitus treatment clinic. Book a consultation today.
